RUMORVERSE: TEMUERA MORRISON Joins the OBI-WAN KENOBI Series

As we approach production of the highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series for Disney+, it should be expected that we will begin hearing rumors about additional cast members who may be popping up through the limited series.

A report from Kessel Run Transmissions, states that Temuera Morrison, who was last seen taking over the role of Boba Fett in The Mandalorian, will be joining the cast for the Kenobi series. However, it wont be as the Galaxy’s most feared Bounty Hunter, but rather as a friendly face of Obi-Wan’s past. It seems that Morrisons will be portraying Clone trooper Commander Cody. Cody was a staple during Star Wars The Clone Wars and was part of many successful missions along side Kenobi.

Having Morrison return as the face of an older Clone trooper is an exciting development and one we should all hope plays out as Lucasfilm explores more lore within the Star Wars universe.
