Per Deadline, Jonathan Entwistle (I Am Not Okay with This) has been tapped to create new film and television adaptations of Power Rangers. He was already attached to the upcoming reboot film but has now been brought on for the television side as well.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers premiered on American Televisions in 1993 and was based on a Japanese franchise called Super Sentai. MMPR went on to to garner a large popularity within the pop-culture world allowing for multiple film adaptations and a plethora of television shows. In 2017 a reboot was released by Lionsgate and was decently received but not enough to push forward with a continuation.
