from Steve.

Kenric:
[0:00] Write what that spoiler country and can be back is mr horsley and today on,
well we’re going to do some what of an off-the-cuff discussion about the Joker because there’s so much going on about him right now with Joaquin Phoenix as movie in development as we speak.

John:
[0:20] And apparently Jared Leto still the Joker in the dceu haven’t hickey still part of one of the movies coming out so there’s like two jokers out there so I don’t know but.

Kenric:
[0:30] You know if you think about it as like comic books that’s not unheard of to have multiple timelines mold with yours is going on so it’s not it’s it’s not all bad.

John:
[0:41] I don’t care because we have as many jokers are as many kids as you want just just tell me to so many good movie.

Kenric:
[0:46] Was Joaquin Phoenix it should be I’m curious how his betrayal will be if anybody could pull off what he Ledger did he’s probably one of the few actors who could I think.

John:
[0:57] Yeah but I hope I hope he’s not doing for a mimic letter style I’m always doing for like that is owned Joker again outside I really want them to make Ledger maybe maybe to some extent because it was so freaking good but you know I don’t know,
feeling.

Kenric:
[1:13] Everybody everybody’s making a comparison to the way that they’re dressed and all that but I would kind of contend that Heath Ledger suit was very much a classic Joker look not so much just Heath Ledger,
the personality that Heath Ledger did was different and why she wasn’t even difference the way he portrayed him what was was revolutionary I guess you could say but
and the makeup was was completely new the way he did the make up but the soup itself was,
that’s that was a calm in very that look right.

John:
[1:49] It was very animated version of that anime bright purple but it was spot-on,
it’s good so I figured before we talked about all the actors that played The Joker you know me and I like to do some research and
ten minutes between talking to you last time it record it to research so after we talk a little bit about the history of the joker the character of the joker by who we is free right,
comic is your favorite place to of one time all the other actors that play them.

Kenric:
[2:17] Hey where you sitting cuz you sound like you’re in a bathroom.

John:
[2:23] I’m singing in the in the hotel room in San Francisco at a desk.

Kenric:
[2:27] White thank you for the the exact thing I know you know you’re in a hotel room in San Francisco I was just wondering cuz it was just it sounds more spacious than yesterday or the last you know couple times so it just sounds a little echoey,
no that’s not apologize.

John:
[2:43] All the strewn stop echoing,
before I left home I got a cold from Kaylee so I’m all congested so if I sound,
I don’t need her.

Kenric:
[2:56] Alright so moving on.

John:
[2:59] Types of Joker created by Bill Finger Bob Kane and Jay Robinson as well,
boxing tries to help,
called to figure the other guy buy batman but first appeared about number one back in nineteen forty he’s based he was very much based on and when plane for the last day to twenty eight movie,
what,
it’s an iconic picture lychee use that same image for like my teaser for our aims to select of that demented demon in the.

Kenric:
[3:42] Yeah who andrew sumner wanted out right away.

John:
[3:45] Oh yeah I mean it’s it’s so great and I use that because like that face in the creepiest if I could find it I just want to drive so you know,
but originally I don’t know if you know this but it was a joke or supposed to be a one-on-one issue character he’s supposed to die in the first issue and there and never come back.

Kenric:
[4:02] Could you imagine.

John:
[4:03] Yeah like in the in if you read the first issue of batman like the joker get stab to the heart with a knife.

Kenric:
[4:10] Oh interesting.

John:
[4:11] Yeah and because of editorial decisions they added a panel before it was a print to show that he live he survived the stabbing but originally he was supposed to die in the comic and never come back.

Kenric:
[4:22] That if they if they would kill the joker i am i don’t know that batman would have been the big hero that he is today.

John:
[4:30] The guy the joker was just the start of his his bros galleria view of the paint.

Kenric:
[4:35] Okay Batman has one of the greatest Rogues Gallery we all know that but none of them hold a candle to who and what the Joker is none of them.

John:
[4:43] We’re running but he’s he’s the joker probably is the greatest villain of all time it in comics you know.

Kenric:
[4:50] Day is definitely one of them that’s for sure he’s in the top he’s in the top three yeah.

John:
[4:52] Yeah for sure other big debbie gibson at the top top five films of all time.

Kenric:
[4:59] I ask you top 10 top 10.

John:
[5:01] Alright talk to you and talk to you but the joker as you I told you before you started there was a time from the comics,
because of how brutal,
killer in the in the first 10 50 years of his of his time to time.

Kenric:
[5:17] Oh really so he murdered a lot of people like.

John:
[5:22] Yeah he was straight up killer in the front end in his first run,
but around they towed it down.

Kenric:
[5:28] At the comments that it’s already or.

John:
[5:31] There yet so jack shift him back matter,
and he started soccer The Joker up making them less of a killer y’all start stopping at Batman making Batman less brutal in the 50s and then came comes kodathoor each where Joker bass to became a trickster and Batman became me know,
not as brutal at all.

Kenric:
[5:49] The dynamic duo.

John:
[5:50] Said the Joker The Joker became not a killer at all it’s just a picture who I’d like to play tricks on Batman you know back in the fifties,
and he said he kind of,
in the early sixties ed have for the trickster of them in sixty four julie swartz who was you know what’s very dc error hey hey the joker character completely and pretty much is dropped from the comics.

Kenric:
[6:17] What was enters name julia schwartz.

John:
[6:19] Julia Schwartz yeah he was when he was though he was the additive using condoms comes from on heated lot of good stuff but he hated Joker.

Kenric:
[6:27] I wonder why do you hate the Joker.

John:
[6:30] I’m not sure you didn’t like him but it wasn’t until 1966.

Kenric:
[6:32] Corny what i thought it was corny.

John:
[6:35] Yea but even more so in sixty six the batman tv show came on and we have the first actor to play batman.

Kenric:
[6:42] Play by the grace cesar romero.

John:
[6:45] Yep who refused to shave his mustache for thrall.

[6:53] Yeah he played The Joker as a trickster as like that that trick sure that you was in a murder he wasn’t a killer he was a Crime Boss trickster that and he’s a troll that would that was the role that we need to be at the time that showed it fit that show he’s a great version yeah.

Kenric:
[7:05] The show was this comic book to the Joker comic book for a while.

John:
[7:11] The commitment from 70s that was after Neal Adams.

Kenric:
[7:15] The comic book The Joker the comic book was in the 70s I think it was in the 40s.

John:
[7:20] Oh no no the joke did his first three tight nineteen seventies setting think i’ll check request.

Kenric:
[7:27] Wow I thought it was a lot earlier than that you can get those books for relatively cheap.

John:
[7:34] Yeah yeah there next time,
red diamond shoes from 7525 e October 17th.

Kenric:
[7:42] When do I didn’t last cuz it wasn’t a planned miniseries it was just his own book.

John:
[7:49] Arizona Desert Resort.

Kenric:
[7:50] Is can figure out a way to make him a good guy enough to where people want read by.

John:
[7:55] Right right I mean and even then it hits you was coming off that the hills of new items were doing so.

Kenric:
[8:00] Okay Danielle Adams bring him back to being brutal.

John:
[8:04] Yeah or renew items we did that a lot of things but um,
so in the 60s behind Cesar Romero playing The Joker for the first time you supposed to act up even though Batman had a TV series or will serial series back in the 40s hit two of them in the 40s hit Batman here Batman Robin.

Kenric:
[8:19] No not tv shows but,
like before like you go see a movie and there’d be like a a 5 minute 10 minute thing of Batman played by like live action.

John:
[8:31] I did that did that for yeah elevation yet.

Kenric:
[8:34] Oh I didn’t know that can we find those are they online are they available.

John:
[8:38] Yeah I have I have my DVD.

Kenric:
[8:40] Wow and what what.

John:
[8:42] The f****** terrible,
but they’re horrible I mean most of those movies are y’all think this was there’s a Superman with Kirk alyn when there’s a Captain Marvel one there’s a Captain America one and it was the first one to come out,
is capt america and there’s.

Kenric:
[9:00] Not know about these that’s crazy.

John:
[9:01] I believe the Batman ones are pretty bad like the Batman was a probably the worst of all of them.

Kenric:
[9:07] In sc is in the batman suit and everything.

John:
[9:09] He’s at about headset on my god is it terrible it’s like imagine imagine your mom getting a piece of nylon and cutting a bat mask out of it like so in years on it and that it all floppy that’s the map.

Kenric:
[9:21] Oh my God I want to watch.

John:
[9:23] I mean it’s it’s it’s fun to watch that’s so corny.

Kenric:
[9:26] Dont or id are they like trying to be very serious.

John:
[9:28] Oh it it it’s it’s trying to be serious so there’s batman there’s bevan rob answers to the irs data to force or is.

Kenric:
[9:34] Yeah but the joker’s not in hair.

John:
[9:37] Joker’s not in any way of saying yeah I know it’s all it’s just it’s just Batman Robin me Chris record in like a bunch of random people random stuff.

Kenric:
[9:44] Yeah that’s crazy.

John:
[9:46] But yeah we also have the first animated version of The Joker in the in the 60 show The Adventures of Batman that was voiced by Larry Storch.

Kenric:
[9:58] Okay.

John:
[10:01] So come to seventy’s and then we have joker has been pretty much nowhere because of julie schwartz not like em they can be sees this of the batman to be show jokers kind of like you know he’s.

Kenric:
[10:12] Short but then a girl to guy not that it matters and i’m just curious i never see i never thought of julie as unisex,
add me to turn into the does a whole song about being a boy cults you so whatever.

John:
[10:27] And great song to,
the joker was basely out that is unbecoming for four years ago for years and not know it no joke in the comics in the seventy’s,
so was until 73 when he came back then it was it was under,
i am not sure i that all its i its a kid with a number but its tissue do edition with the joker the big joker or in the in there ha ha whole motor batman on that the ace the ace card.

Kenric:
[10:58] Oh yeah.

John:
[11:00] Yeah it’s you 3/5.

Kenric:
[11:03] That’s probably why it’s worth money because of the is.

John:
[11:05] Yeah it’s the return of Joker yeah yeah video Neil who brought him back.

Kenric:
[11:19] What time was prolific.

John:
[11:22] He was very prolific give me he read a little leery to find Batman and brought him brought him into being,
Gator out of the cam penis.

Kenric:
[11:28] You will have new atoms because people sent team to be on either side of his coin the guy did some amazing work and he in any should be commended for what he did for Comics so I love his work.

John:
[11:41] Yeah yeah love him or hate him he has a huge impact on the comics,
it was it was under them it was it was under their series at the Joker not only came back to being a killer but they said the foundation for him being insane as well.

Kenric:
[11:58] Oh they set the foundation for that so before he was just a dude in in in in a clown suit basically.

John:
[12:07] Pretty wicked it he wasn’t really in a clown suit in the Golden Age.

Kenric:
[12:09] Natsu but the makeup then all that it wasn’t anything more than just some dude be.

John:
[12:15] Really it means murder in that day total in the groundwork for me obviously he was in Sandoval and H2 but they started really really lay in that insanity.

Kenric:
[12:22] When away from that in the fifties and sixties and the neil and rotor back strong.

John:
[12:28] Yep and they also use them more sparingly the did they do not make him,
you know it every issue they made him like an infrequent feeling against Batman so he would show up every now that you would have been like every single issue.

Kenric:
[12:39] Which I think was brilliant for them to do it that way.

John:
[12:42] I think it was bringing so I think the Joker should be the biggest villain in the background of Batman and not being every Batman.

Kenric:
[12:48] Oh he’s ids overused,
yeah I got some amazing covers variant covers of Joker from The New 52 like the whole face off issues United mean and it’s it’s crazy cool again.

John:
[13:06] Yeah so I shy I can answer the question you asked me why did the Joker series canceled so the Joker series was the first villain to have the first DC villain have his own Series right the first.

Kenric:
[13:19] Didn’t consider New Gods it was New Gods no that was when was New Gods.

John:
[13:25] Of those x seventy six wasn’t.

Kenric:
[13:27] I guess it would be after that so.

John:
[13:31] But.

Kenric:
[13:42] That must have been nothing like they probably said head into every issue he’s got to get arrested.

John:
[13:49] Write write this and that come straight out of the Commerce code authorities to go back with an episode you order steel you’ll learn that one of the things you couldn’t do was have the villain win.

Kenric:
[13:58] Yeah that makes sense that right,
God they should do it now where he’s just a maniac like evil Ernie.

John:
[14:06] Rate that we were cool as ceo will be cool is to do a tammy this is kind of off the cuff your putt like do a joker series a title search called the joker where the joker is not the main character.

Kenric:
[14:18] Plantology series.

John:
[14:20] None of them know how does a series that that’s all about Joker but like told from,
out of having it as a back on tour together throughout the place in the problem b series regular six inches or whatever but have it back be told like it tell how to tell a story about the joker the joker is in it but it’s but not from his point of view and not him as acta.

Kenric:
[14:41] From everybody else’s point.

John:
[14:42] Because I think I did as soon as you take a joke when you make him the main.

Kenric:
[14:45] They kinda did that and the batman the animated series like it gets like
but,
i’d like,
coming and drive it up again by it’s really actually really creepy and then in the Joker like follow them home and kidnaps them and stuff but the whole thing from what you’re saying at the beginning is all that way it’s really good actually.

John:
[15:16] Yeah yeah I would rather do that but the Joker darker and darker and more insane like there’s.

Kenric:
[15:27] Did it look changers did it.

John:
[15:29] Is look change he became more of the year that the long to long john that a long chin coming down the big smile.

Kenric:
[15:35] Horse not with a horse face but that long skinny job.

John:
[15:39] Yeah yeah the home.

Kenric:
[15:41] More the who kinda knows everything.

John:
[15:43] The big nose but a but stories i joker face which emphasized his mental instability that have at the end of delved deep into that the seventies the kind of a more worthy insanity style more of of that he became,
he became more popular than that late 70s because of that however conversely they still made him the stupid trickster like silly Joker in the cartoons,
so there’s like you showed he showed up in the new Scooby Doo movies he should have been super friendship in the Dealer’s the Batman throughout the 70s but was still what was still more like the Romero character.

Kenric:
[16:15] And for the cartoons at that time a really made 4 5 6 7 8 year olds.

John:
[16:20] Ultima id that’s fine i think it’s fine to have two versions of the character have in the compost be more for the the grown-up you brother people with a pipe us the cartoons of the kids are watching only to see him muttering.

Kenric:
[16:29] Yeah you can get away with more in the comics.

John:
[16:33] So that brings us into the eighties right to get the seventies we had a series with that in the eighties we saw things like the dark knight we saw things like.

Kenric:
[16:42] Wheelers your one in your to.

John:
[16:45] We also saw joker stay every throughout the eighties i made two this is me talking off the cuff whatever seeing and reading from red back ladies the joker’s there but he’s not there a lot he’s not always either in every other issue.

Kenric:
[16:57] Yeah I don’t remember he yeah he’s not in every issue he has he plays a big part in The Dark Knight Returns up until until he dies,
spoiler alert if you haven’t read The Dark Knight Returns.

John:
[17:11] Oh God dang it.

Kenric:
[17:12] No it’s been out since like nineteen eighty five so get a clue and then and then the other thing is alan moore’s the killing joke comes out.

John:
[17:22] Denny’s.

Kenric:
[17:23] The real big one.

John:
[17:25] And in the end,
the joker darker and darker in the seventies plug them into on as invite where the joker was more than just being at a silly,
animated more back to killer but when the eighties and they just when it is leaking into them saturday limit have murderous rage with.

Kenric:
[17:41] All.

John:
[17:43] It’s like The Killing Joke work where he killed me over you.

Kenric:
[17:45] Dude it in in the Dark Knight Returns he he kills a whole Cub Scout Troop.

John:
[17:51] Yeah I mean what happened to forget death in the family he beats Jason Todd to death with a.

Kenric:
[17:57] As of the building.

John:
[17:59] Yeah I mean you don’t get much more literally killing Batman sidekick you know in a Batman comic.

Kenric:
[18:08] I need a great job of that in the cartoon the animated movie it was hard to watch.

John:
[18:14] It was it was a little.

Kenric:
[18:16] Mark Hamill that was somebody else right that did The Voice.

John:
[18:19] Yeah yeah there’s there’s several different voices Hamilton.

Kenric:
[18:22] And most of them have done an excellent job.

John:
[18:25] Yeah other than all that all from your jobs.

Kenric:
[18:28] It’s just been is a little extra.

John:
[18:30] He right he just that the woman all seem you now,
so we’re coming to the 80s till we come into the first movie version.

Kenric:
[18:46] It was in the theater.

John:
[18:48] It was in theaters with Ted Council in the second movie version of The Joker I guess with Jack Nicholson betraying.

Kenric:
[18:55] And who created the standard of what your your Jokers was supposed to be.

John:
[19:01] He was so amazing that were like to meet growing up that was what Joker should be.

Kenric:
[19:06] It is so weird that it’s you watch it now and it’s it’s so dated even even though Jack is amazing in it his performance is still dated it’s so weird.

John:
[19:16] The movies did it to with with the Prince soundtrack in the.

Kenric:
[19:20] Yeah yeah.

John:
[19:21] Making it it’s very.

Kenric:
[19:22] Think that’s what makes chris nolan’s it chris no is all fucking good you don’t mean that the batman begins and about the third one but batman begins and the dark knight,
those two movies are so freaking good that you forget about Tim Burton’s Batman in a lot of ways,
and then when you go watch it it’s just not as good as Chris Nolan.

John:
[19:48] You have to look at is a different take on Batman you know.

Kenric:
[19:50] Yeah yeah it’s it’s just yeah it’s a different director I mean,
crazy and amazing again so.

John:
[19:59] Rhyming Schlitterbahn Connor is a joke.

Kenric:
[20:04] They said they needed to be batman beyond and have michael keaton come back.

John:
[20:09] Dude they should do that hundred percent they should do that.

Kenric:
[20:11] Out that would be amazing it cuz i love michael keaton us not even his real name.

John:
[20:20] Yeah it what is his real name.

Kenric:
[20:21] It’s somebody else he has a famous name of somebody else.

[20:29] Yeah it in what is Michael Keaton’s here let me look it up real quick.

[20:39] Sup.

John:
[20:42] John douglas this resize is.

Kenric:
[20:43] When are you going to do that I’m doing it whatever dude I’m like saying I’m looking it up and then you do it you’re such a dick,
it’s like telling people when someone goes man I love this so much you like it.

John:
[20:59] Ever whatever do.

Kenric:
[21:00] Is is is real name is michael that was witches you know,
that is alright because when you when you you can’t have actors can’t have the same name when they go into Sac so you have to choose a name and so he was like well I’ll just do Michael Keaton.

John:
[21:17] Have michael jordan michael b jordan michael j jordan.

Kenric:
[21:19] Yep yep that’s why does when you gonna sagged can have the same name as another actor because he can’t have credits and all that kind of.

John:
[21:29] I’m good though we have nobody has my name so I’m good.

Kenric:
[21:32] Yeah I don’t have money.

John:
[21:34] So that’s what trains i make movies me famous.

Kenric:
[21:36] Add we shut it was for commercials.

John:
[21:39] Okay.

Kenric:
[21:42] Nc

John:
[21:43] So we also saw something else for the Joker he started his first video game,
yeah so in 89 they’re Batman the Caped Crusader came out it was for like the Commodore 64 and stuff and it had the Joker character enter this way.

Kenric:
[21:58] Play comics needs to get on that one.

John:
[22:02] I think they did that one.

Kenric:
[22:03] I think what he’s on ass and yes he’s going he started with like what atari or some like that and it is worked his way through all the game consol so if that’s a commoner sixty four i don’t know if that’s in as per view you might wanna message him and say hey.

John:
[22:17] I messaged her about that and if you want to hear me talk about turtles I just I was on a reasonable time with him talking about TMNT and then the other wonderful Game Boy.

Kenric:
[22:25] Play comics doing the TMNT games and that’s actually really fun podcast big game game head and you love Comics that’s a good one to go check out.

John:
[22:35] Question express the ones that don’t have me on agree.

Kenric:
[22:37] The one that i did.

John:
[22:40] Yeah it is pretty good too.

Kenric:
[22:41] That was the best in that clearly so okay so ninety nine with jack nicholson who kinda did a different take on the outfit.

John:
[22:52] Yeah it was very much more of a clean-out.

Kenric:
[22:53] Clean but it was very cartoonists on purpose.

John:
[22:57] He was so he bases Joker that he bases Joker on two on two big things video Neil storylines and Cesar Romero.

Kenric:
[23:09] But man was he did he did he do Insane so good you know that whole scene and then he wipes the blood off and starts laughing that was all after they had already said cut and kept going and so temp
escape the camera going.

John:
[23:26] You know he said it is maybe a rumor thing in urban legend but I grow up thinking this my dad always tell me this is like he had said that he would want to keep want to come back as a joker Anna and it actually submitted a proposal to Warner Brothers of how is character could come back from the dead
or the first movie and its never happened at all that’s true or not.

Kenric:
[23:45] Man.

John:
[23:46] But I mean I would still walk.

Kenric:
[23:48] Just about done.

John:
[23:48] Old Joker,
but how cool would it be to than do about mb on movie like return the joker or some might that and have him play and i have put in some part in all joker have checked because of the old.

Kenric:
[24:01] Yeah yeah that would be amazing.

John:
[24:03] Oh my god that be awesome.

Kenric:
[24:05] That would be amazing so okay so now we’ve had we we talk about Joker from the 1940s 1930s.

John:
[24:12] Yep all with up to eighty psi.

Kenric:
[24:14] Eighteen eighty nine and he’s and and jack the great jack nicholson plays the joker and and i remember all the way up until he’s ledger plays the joker in the dark knight,
no one ever thought that anybody could pop nicholson performances the joker.

John:
[24:34] No it was it was like the whole thing time with should I be at we had we had our one shot we had our great Joker no one’s ever going to do it again that you are such a weird character isn’t it is what it is,
but we’ll get there when I’m not quite there yet yeah so in the 90s you know,
three,
so they can take the tim burton batman got a new collar book serious.

Kenric:
[24:56] No thanks to Joel Schumacher.

John:
[24:59] Yeah it will look up there.

Kenric:
[25:01] Is there any jewel schumacher stuff.

John:
[25:03] I’m trying to talk.

Kenric:
[25:05] Just gonna say this.

John:
[25:06] So we have new car books coming out who’s got better in the dark knight if you got Batman shadow of the bat we’ve got all these other Batman supposed to come,
in denham do no better be on ss in the late nineties rap either yet where we’re always.

Kenric:
[25:21] So we’re at we’re on Batman the Animated Series which is one of the best series which also of course one of Kaylee’s favorite characters got introduced.

John:
[25:30] Yes Harley Quinn came on that serious in an amazing episode when you’re Harley Quinn actually captured and had Batman ready to be killed and Joker doctor.

Kenric:
[25:38] Do you want to go to self he wants to.

John:
[25:40] Yeah he was mad at her because she got it.

Kenric:
[25:43] Classic Joker.

John:
[25:46] Right so we have the great Mark Hamill coming in and.

Kenric:
[25:52] People were like flabbergasted because when you start watching the cartoon cuz I was 17 when that came out cuz I was like 91.

John:
[26:02] 91 92.

Kenric:
[26:03] Six seventeen eighty one batman animated series come out i was like i was i was all no that oh my god this is the shit and i was watching it and i,
going through and and watching the credits and I saw Joker Mark Hamill and I was like all that can’t be the same Mark Hamill,
luke skywalker no and i it was like a bit was a huge i remember when you learn about it was a huge shock that mark hamill was doing the voice of the joker.

John:
[26:32] Yeah you know like what.

Kenric:
[26:34] Hey where you at were at Batman animated series you just talked about Harley Quinn capturing the Batman.

John:
[26:41] It’s capture them and was ready to kill and he got pissed and no i didn’t yet be right about that yeah so anyways series mark hamill trying to find like on our heat the voice of batman arkham joker.

Kenric:
[26:50] Voice right and it actually the characteristics comes out in the voice.

John:
[26:56] Yeah it’s it’s it’s like i mean a lot of the actors who voiced the joker having such a great job you know but it all comes back to its just more camel is the voice of the joker it’s so crazy how great his.

Kenric:
[27:08] What.

John:
[27:14] No i don’t think using the first one i am unsure of.

Kenric:
[27:18] Cuz I did a good job of not having him in every episode he’s in a lot but he’s not in but he’s not in a lot either.

John:
[27:25] It’s not as if the that they use they wouldn’t good job of using a lot of other bill and.

Kenric:
[27:31] Start c is so that cloudy because i remind me of the suit that he allowed the stuff that he wore in like the killing joke and the dark knight returns more that purple suit more that kinda style.

John:
[27:49] I’m looking at the first appearance then when the show.

Kenric:
[27:52] Do I need to stop talking about what you want me to do it before you.

John:
[27:55] Stop feeling sorry for me.

Kenric:
[28:08] Yeah and that was on for like what Four Seasons five seasons.

John:
[28:12] Teen eighteen at eighty five episodes and who in his is a.

Kenric:
[28:15] See that’s the proper way to use a villain with that much Charisma and not much.

John:
[28:26] Is it more in mesa better so.

Kenric:
[28:29] Go to special episode.

John:
[28:32] Yeah I would say you what you said was perfect and I tried talking about I got myself in a hole here I might as well keep going.

Kenric:
[28:37] I’m guilty of that all the time.

John:
[28:39] You start talking before you realize what they just said what I was going to say s*** now I got to keep going.

Kenric:
[28:45] Play Corey like you’re you’re trying to say they just said something and then you want to say it but you want to say it like try to be more eloquent and in what your say.

John:
[28:58] Yeah bird we’re fucking done or a good good.

Kenric:
[29:02] Kinda had brought back the the the have the the the what the brim hat you eat scene with the fedora because it would be a for door right.

John:
[29:11] Meet me died nicholson had a summer had his movie in the movie to be admitted that it was great was great you know that that that show like,
show to me cuz i mean in the nineties i was you know that’s right but to my adolescence right now,
i was teenager measure nineteen ninety i was eight years old you know so with the with the guys from eight eighteen you know and i watch that show religiously that show that in,
the new Batman Robin adventures and investor point of interest in Batman Beyond I watch all the shows.

Kenric:
[29:42] 8 9 10 years old watching Batman and Superman and the level of Animation that you got to see and the fact that the writing was really succinct,
right you don’t know how lucky you are for that cuz I had like Transformers and some like that,
they were cool but the writing in the animation was nowhere near as up to that Park,
you know and realize that,
white holes and Loops in and you know me and they did a bunch of things that was a well-crafted animated series,
that was not only was it a Serial meaning that you know that they were,
okay thank you
the modern time activity at that fifties dark feel was brilliant it was fucking brilliant.

John:
[30:40] What are they going to bring things they did was is animations use animation,
alright is white behind all the other cells Batman and his.

Kenric:
[30:53] I mean which makes sense it’s the Dark Knight Bruce timm and who’s the other person,
jesus christ those guys just they just nailed that so fricking well that i don’t know i mean i’m sure somebody will have something that that is just as amazing at some point but right now i don’t,
the animated series that on that level.

John:
[31:20] The thing about to be the.

Kenric:
[31:21] Making movies based on that series.

John:
[31:29] The queen became joker such a psychic size love interest and she was use me and that character of harley quinn,
sleeve there and helped explain so much back story of joker without giving away is backstory,
wake their ch as a psychiatrist she was able they were able to we will words so much more about the joker in that cartoon in those eighteen episodes did we ever learned you know anything on,
alone.

Kenric:
[31:56] Well yeah it’s it it was a better brilliant series i would highly recommend if you if you haven’t,
reason watch the batman animated series really do yourself a favor because,
there’s no language in it and the violence is its cartoon violence and it’s not no one like gets murdered what,
never die and that show.

John:
[32:19] I mean yeah but it’s not it’s all like off-screen you know it’s not like yeah.

Kenric:
[32:23] But the writing and I don’t know how mad I can’t say enough good things about it,
for me at my at your age bill to close the series i had to being on the same par the same level as batman the animated series with star blazers cuz that was the first actual cartoon that did up a sonic,
what,
so the right,
but the animation was not on par with what you had with with batman animated at all.

John:
[33:07] But.

Kenric:
[33:11] Hey you know what thing we haven’t talked about though is we’ve talked about the joker suit and we’ve actually purposely are bring it up to sue over and over again to make a point later down the road
but we haven’t talked about the makeup and the actual look of his face and how that change and his hair color and all that kind of stuff because everybody’s,
in here white face may be red lipstick but not all.

John:
[33:37] Yeah red lips usually usually used to read lips or lips at arm or hand.

Kenric:
[33:43] He gave you isn’t it more pool.

John:
[33:48] Yeah his black hair defect appearance.

Kenric:
[33:49] Yeah and then went out like when do the Green here actually start.

John:
[33:55] He had green hair the first in the first issue it is on the cover is on the cover looks more blue.

Kenric:
[34:01] Okay that might have been the printing press that did that.

John:
[34:05] Right right you look up Golden Age pictures and also their first appearance of Joker like his hair has a lot of Blackness with green highlights with him through the issue he has he’s always had green hair.

Kenric:
[34:14] Okay but but the way his make up i’m just saying i know is not make up but we’re gonna call it make up because it has changed,
in some ways cuz not all the time that you get more of a clown kinda look like what we’re seeing today with the walking phoenix still that people might have seen and or,
you know I don’t know what has that was there a big change besides the English nation of his face from the 30s up into the 70s.

John:
[34:44] So really his face and his face originally was more round it and they slowly behind the at a certain adding of the anger job in the,
late fifties or so but not quite as pronounces silver age and then throughout the day it really make that that chin pop out.

Kenric:
[35:06] You’re the art in The Killing Joke is really good.

John:
[35:09] So me the but really the joke is always had to perform green suits green hair white face and red lips that’s been that’s been like the predominant.

Kenric:
[35:20] Nicholson.

John:
[35:21] Asians yeah.

Kenric:
[35:24] Okay okay and and that’s how he’s betrayed in the animation as well there’s some differences like when they did that weird thing where like batman vs dracula the movie,
he says we’re looking at an idle it is that style without from another series of batman.

John:
[35:48] And the Joker The Joker’s like this crazy Jester ridiculous.

Kenric:
[35:52] The Hunchback of Notre Dame but with someone of the.

John:
[35:55] Mexican Mexican hyena.

Kenric:
[35:56] Yeah and then with this somewhat of the Joker face with the big nose and the.

John:
[36:03] Next series result.

Kenric:
[36:03] Green dreadlocks or something but I did.

John:
[36:07] That’s just bad.

Kenric:
[36:08] Batman vs Dracula I like that at that movie.

John:
[36:11] Tell me about the overall that series is just a bad interpretation Decatur I didn’t care for it too much also Batman’s Batman’s cowl has no numbers on it just go straight down to the tip.

Kenric:
[36:19] Oh that’s weird I like the penguin in the Batman vs Dracula the way they do the penguins look good.

John:
[36:25] Navigate to news that came out account number and i will officer i want to watch it again it’s in for a total interest burnley.

Kenric:
[36:36] But that one too so did so Dennis Karen.

John:
[36:38] I know just did it feel like I need to watch it again because I see ice cube plans terrible.

Kenric:
[36:42] Not the show i do we should do a we should do a list of the of for of all the batman movies and counting down a number one just like just animated.

John:
[36:51] Put a pin in that one if they’re sober mm right so,
to what you said earlier we kind of action up with talk about it the joel schumacher films batman and robin batman forever kind of kill batman a little bit like not just got stuck to the movie but that the pot thirty of them in general kind of kind of.

Kenric:
[37:10] Because it became so campy and lame people are like they would do well in the box office but the only did well because the initial push and then people thought they be like what the f***.

John:
[37:20] Right so it kind of the kind of had to reinvent Joker little bit this point and this was when,
not if you ask somebody today what’s Joker know who were Joker and Batman to each other,
start that mentality wasn’t in the comics or anywhere until the mm,
started in the early two thousand.

Kenric:
[37:43] But,
and comic books do you have so much content written about one character that
ship out where batman is litterally like someone who has lived a life it’s not it is not a snapshot of one book or fourteen books it’s eighty years of material being written about some by,
it’s the your
what’s the
really exist without one another.

John:
[38:28] Right and looking back all the oldest Airlines all that makes perfect sense to go there you know but they kind of flush that out.

Kenric:
[38:37] Which which you would show.

John:
[38:39] Weather shows the intercom.

Kenric:
[38:40] In the comics okay.

John:
[38:41] Yeah yeah the Joker himself between obsessed with proving the Batman the Batman who were the same write the whole one bad the whole one bad day scenario thing you know is what he.

Kenric:
[38:50] I thought that started with the the killing joke that’s what the whole thing was is it only takes one day one bad day to do that and then.

John:
[39:00] But they’re expand expand upon it more to make it to where it’s is the Joker’s obsession.

Kenric:
[39:03] Cuz yet we’ll talk is going nuts because i get really because batman’s breaking the law every day and they’re not hunting him down like that.

John:
[39:13] Right right that happened in the 80s in the fast forward.

Kenric:
[39:25] Yeah well you don’t allow that dude is the young readers that were reading the killing joke by the time the 2000 women’s doubles the guys are writing the story that were heavily influenced by that story.

John:
[39:35] So make pretty sense why wouldn’t actually go there.

Kenric:
[39:37] Yup perfect sense.

John:
[39:39] So and then also what happened in the 2000 is there was a really good serious if you haven’t read it and if you are to be at the hasn’t but I highly suggest really cuz it’s very fun but this is serious God Emperor Joker,
our jogger basically what happens is joker gets the powers of mystery spill it,
as a reality that we howdy medically powers and uses them to repeatedly torture and kill batman over and over and over again.

Kenric:
[40:07] Let myxlplyx.

John:
[40:09] I mean if you want to. I’ve always had Mexican elect I will send it was wrong but if I fall.

Kenric:
[40:12] It’s a pillock myxlplyx is how they pronounced it in the SuperFriends.

John:
[40:17] Yeah but I don’t trust him the Super Friends.

Kenric:
[40:19] Oh that’s canon he.

John:
[40:22] No it’s not it’s not canon.

Kenric:
[40:24] To twin powers activate are those guys even in the comic books the wonder twins at all.

John:
[40:28] No no i mean it and they they’ve been in comics since then but they were not from the.

Kenric:
[40:33] Dino.

John:
[40:38] Joker tortures and kills Batman over and over again with this with this powers that he realizes he can’t live without that man to fight he needs Batman to fight that’s why you can’t kill him because when he kills maggots that.

Kenric:
[40:47] This is why I’m excited for the Batman black with the Joker’s head in a jar.

John:
[40:52] Right right so yeah Joker even dies himself multiple times but revised himself as well cuz he has to be out again with the whole reality because it’s saying whatever,
and this is kind of what leads to me this isn’t what leads to it but I kind of use this leads out to Jason Todd return in 0.05 when you’re pretty killed Jason Todd back in,
yeah but be red hood which is cool cuz the Red Hood in the backstory of the Joker the Red Hood was the Joker’s first crime name.

Kenric:
[41:20] Play it’s it’s a bunch of people have been the Red Hood,
okay so now we’re in the two thousands his look as it is basically this has morphed into what it is with the anger face is got more of the that the nice tailored suit that’s,
plant with purple usually right and now Chris Nolan’s Batman Begins comes up.

John:
[41:48] We do it.

Kenric:
[41:49] Five and it does really well.

John:
[41:50] Does it Amaze it’s an amazing movie and but Joker’s not in that.

Kenric:
[41:57] No but that if that movie didn’t do well we would never get to the next week.

John:
[42:02] Writes about the end of that movie they do show they do have all teaser with the cards right,
before the prior to that movie though the mark him over sick joke or what’s continuing,
Nubian shows cuz I had Justice League Justice League Unlimited and stuff like that that had,
him play The Joker and then in the Batman series what’s the one we talked about it by Kevin Michael Richardson who was the he was the first I think the only African-American to voice the character.

Kenric:
[42:31] Set.

John:
[42:33] Hamilton back multiple times they’ve changed my pay here and there but then we come to back to the movies and we’ve got the Dark Knight with Heath Ledger who at the time nobody.

Kenric:
[42:46] 2008-2009.

John:
[42:49] 2008.

Kenric:
[42:50] Can’t believe how it’s been a decade.

John:
[42:53] Yeah it’s been so long but I mean everyone that came out everything about you and still he can’t be the Joker casting.

Kenric:
[43:00] Back mountain but you got a lot of critical acclaim on broke back mountain that showed a lot of acting chops.

John:
[43:08] After him and and and she killed all.

Kenric:
[43:09] Yeah yeah but mostly Heath Ledger he’d like to find that whole thing was kind of crazy.

John:
[43:17] He’s also so yeah he’s an idiot this role he kind of like himself because I went crazy for this role to.

Kenric:
[43:23] Yeah well I’ll tell you a story about Heath Ledger Offline that.

John:
[43:26] Offline I like it.

Kenric:
[43:28] Well yeah it’s it actually yeah and I have to I can’t do it online because I don’t want to call anybody out and and and make somebody uncomfortable that listens to her show.

John:
[43:38] Lights up like it is as stupid on i get a like it but he died of a overdose obviously before the movie came out the fly speculation weather was to accidentally or on purpose or if it is it is a very.

Kenric:
[43:51] Ambien and had I think I had some alcohol and went to bed and he was on Ambien before he had been prescribed.

John:
[44:00] Right right I mean whatever it is.

Kenric:
[44:03] I don’t think it was a suicide I really think it wasn’t.

John:
[44:05] Alex weather what he did,
so seriously when.

Kenric:
[44:10] He do you think you got it you that you are got of you was alive.

John:
[44:17] I’d like to think his performance was good enough to earn it but I don’t think the academy would have given it to him because the academy kind of stubs coming for filthy.

Kenric:
[44:24] Shouldn’t the too big there too much and like like professor acts dude patrick stewart’s performance in logan will it its a tragedy that he wasn’t nominated.

John:
[44:39] How did Logan how did nothing from Logan get nominated.

Kenric:
[44:41] Yeah well I don’t know anything at 11 that should have been nominated in my mind is Patrick Stewart I mean,
was amazing wasn’t academy award winning means and i don’t know about that the cinematography was was,
basic it didn’t have like these sweeping shots of these amazing things that make you go wow really like that but Patrick Stewart performance was,
it was it was it wasn’t even about his him protrain Professor X it was him portraying somebody with the illness like that,
you know and going through what he was going through and then
and his relationship with with wet with the car all with x twenty three and with low again in and going through all that kinda stuff that was amazing and it was it’s sad,
he wasn’t nominated you really really really should have that,
it is just I don’t know,
I don’t know I was really disappointed I was disappointed because it showed that there was they don’t,
hair about something that was obviously amazing to me.

John:
[45:43] Like every who was nominated in the supporting actor for seventeen is like i mean i,
jeffrey just got nominated with some people we don’t you recognize and but most of the movies are these movies that people don’t really see it too much.

Kenric:
[45:58] It’s always our house films about that that you know about.

John:
[46:00] Yeah yeah.

Kenric:
[46:02] To credit that the academy sony or sony fox might not have actually not do that you have to submit your film to be considered for academy awards,
it’s a it’s not like they just randomly pick films and they all have this is the one it’s ones that have been pushed so they might not a.

John:
[46:23] Oscar’s himself,
they’re not they’re not on Merit like they’re not on,
because it’s all political and it’s all like what studio is pushing their movie the most of the best Brides.

Kenric:
[46:40] Well and also it’ll be like somebody will have this amazing movie everybody knows they should have won the Academy Award and then they don’t they get snubbed and then the next year they have some subpar movie and they win the Academy Award for it because next year.

John:
[46:55] Yeah it’s almost bulshit anyway.

Kenric:
[46:59] Yeah and I think Heath Ledger besides the dreadlocked Hunchback Joker from the Batman animated series Heath Ledger had the,
some of the most drastic change in the joker’s look.

John:
[47:15] Can he change heater does he borders on makeup anyone to make a tour jokers makeup was like stuff from a group i gas station right like spray paint shoe polish of site that and,
he took that he was the first one that I can remember if the Joker’s makeup not being pristine.

Kenric:
[47:31] Yeah making them dirty.

John:
[47:32] I’m just a mess a dirty gross mess.

Kenric:
[47:34] If the Joker was a real person he would be more of a dirty mess.

John:
[47:39] Right you know the whole order of the Joker’s he falls into Vatican one that’s what’s taking too much like that.

Kenric:
[47:44] Didn’t do that in this one.

John:
[47:46] Didn’t know they had no origin form which The Joker does not need an origin which will get you on the 1st,
you’re such a good job in that role as it’s so amazing.

Kenric:
[47:57] Oh you did amazing but the suit was still Taylor it still looked it was still purple it had their lapels it was is very much a joker suit.

John:
[48:08] It was totaled.

Kenric:
[48:09] And this is where we’re getting into why we did this episode.

John:
[48:13] Right so it before we get before we get to that let’s finish off but the 2010s,
sister sue work what when there now there some where get into that so we’ve got in the car he pulls we have you know the joke or,
gets redefined as they can pretty much by Scott Snyder and Greg capullo in the, 252 with the whole him getting his face off and then Joker’s daughter wearing is Matt Pace Reineke mass and all this crazy.

Kenric:
[48:37] Yeah it was crazy.

John:
[48:38] Crazyshit I mean Scott Snyder if you’re listening which I know you’re probably not but hopefully you do some day and break up with you guys drive the scariest f****** Batman stories with retina.

Kenric:
[48:46] Yeah and they’re good they’re funder there fun ree.

John:
[48:49] Dark Court of owls is when the darkest scariest ride I’ve ever been with that man and I’m not going to lie,
yeah so it and it any po they also seemingly killed the joker and answer is obviously they didn’t tell him back but you know fast for on that in the teens and i think in the two doves well we have the arkham city.

Kenric:
[49:12] Tell you bring it in the video games okay.

John:
[49:14] And I am only because it’s Hamill who did the voice of the Joker and the Arkham game for so fantastic if you haven’t played them they just some people that is their Batman and that is their Joker from the Arkham games you know and it’s there so.

Kenric:
[49:27] And then all we didn’t talk in the God one that was there was a video game then they made the.

John:
[49:35] Oh injustice gods among.

Kenric:
[49:36] Yeah that was a video game first.

John:
[49:38] Yeah that was a fight a fighting game fighting it actually had a good story story.

Kenric:
[49:42] So they did comic books and other some of the side after there was collecting comic books.

John:
[49:47] Because the counter sodium good I did tell a really really good alternator story where like Jokers not really in it too much because he kind of gets up fist shoved through him by Superman but he’s the Catalyst for the whole thing.

Kenric:
[49:59] Set.

John:
[50:06] It is another one there that there is amazing set of games that they took their time on them to the gameplay was fantastic and you have hamiltonian back is,
as as Joker and it’s a,
it’s great now at Troy Baker Voice Tim in the prequel Arkham Arkham Origins which people kind of that one off because it’s not by different Studio but in the three Arkham City games those are it is Hamel Hoosier.

Kenric:
[50:29] If you have an Nvidia Shield TV shows for free.

John:
[50:33] Okay yeah nice nice they’re great do it we also got Lego Batman in this time frame they have Lego Batman the videogame and they had the ability of Batman.

Kenric:
[50:43] This isn’t this isn’t a popular thing but I don’t like the Lego Batman stuff.

John:
[50:50] It’s it’s.

Kenric:
[50:50] Sleep during the movie everything just like i’m just not interested in this.

John:
[50:55] I can totally see how to people wouldn’t like it you know I totally said I enjoyed that watch it with Jack and taking the stuff middle of it so I get into a man.

Kenric:
[51:01] As a different level of.

John:
[51:02] Yeah.

Kenric:
[51:03] You’re not,
I can watch My Little Pony with Ella all day long because she,
because she’s getting into it.

John:
[51:23] Eight whatever your bro you know what.

Kenric:
[51:26] Don’t do that now.

John:
[51:27] What you told me a bertie so many times i can.

Kenric:
[51:32] You love it you are peroni at.

John:
[51:34] Whatever they’re fun to read whatever so it Lego Batman 2.

Kenric:
[51:43] Was on our guilty pleasure episode.

John:
[51:47] You know what it is.

Kenric:
[51:49] Go back and listen to that and you can you tell me if Johnny’s a brownie or not.

John:
[51:53] And that episode was called keep it secret keep it safe.

Kenric:
[51:55] Yeah I love that title that’s from Lord of the Ring.

John:
[51:57] Write those episode episode thirty one which i understand.

Kenric:
[52:01] Where is.

John:
[52:02] So it’ll Batman he was voiced by Christopher Corey Smith which wasn’t he he was inspired by Mark Hamill.

Kenric:
[52:10] Lego Batman which one cuz the movie he’s betrayed by Zach Galifianakis.

John:
[52:15] Right now I’m talking about in the video games and in their the videogame basement that they made a couple cart cartoons based off the video game,
before the movie came out but then in the Lego Batman movie it’s voice by Zach Galifianakis who does a great job,
so also in this time frame we have to talk about it because you know it happened there was dirt but it was his is one,
and it’s.

Kenric:
[52:40] I thought you was scary he was freaky and he fits the time.

John:
[52:45] It is the farthest Divergence from the joke,
look wise he’s not in the purple suit he.

Kenric:
[52:53] Raise more pump.

John:
[52:56] Tunes gangster he’s punked out he’s just totally different.

Kenric:
[53:00] I I think he’s scarier actually him and and Heath Ledger are the are the scariest of all of them.

John:
[53:05] Yeah now I like I did enjoy a little take on on on Joker for what it was in the movie in the movie it was in it made sense,
so I just wish there were more with it like,
either more or less like it’ll lead into it or pull it back a little bit I felt like in the movie in the even even the director’s cut of Suicide Squad like there’s,
there’s like its people to there’s not enough of it in their order of the others too much of in there,
so in that movie is like in between those two right,
there’s not enough of his Joker to form an actual story line,
is similar to the one but it’s not all there but there’s also like,
lately it’s too much for Comfort but not enough to be great I don’t know it’s weird it’s been around for me cuz I think I think.

Kenric:
[53:54] I didn’t think that much into it I thought he was freaky looking and he was at he was a aside character.

John:
[54:00] Yeah but you don’t you don’t you don’t overanalyzing everything right.

Kenric:
[54:03] Sure.

John:
[54:05] But i think it like if they would have made now i still don’t,
i still like the enchantress of the bag in the movie too much.

Kenric:
[54:13] I don’t mind the enchantress in that bag I didn’t like I didn’t like how they made her voice you know and I didn’t like the funky dance thing she was doing.

John:
[54:21] Cool cool.

Kenric:
[54:23] Didn’t if they just wanna done the intent tris from the the the the comic book me,
it’s like the Scarlet Witch right it doesn’t relate to the screen very well it would be.

John:
[54:37] No it’s urgent.

Kenric:
[54:39] But just do that I liked how they made her creepy I like that she was this old sorceress from thousands of years ago and that she’s you know possessing like I did like that aspect of it cuz I kind of gave it that Supernatural.

John:
[54:52] Well that’s that’s from the comics.

Kenric:
[54:54] What.

John:
[55:06] Yeah I think she I think she did a fine job which was given I think that they could have put up a present but I don’t think
wasn’t a huge fan of her being that the overall bag i kind of thought with the way they promoted it and the way it was seen am that the,
it’s never going after wasn’t gonna be her was with the joker,
doing the same harley of them after the joker for whatever reason and that just wasn’t the case and i i don’t know il light is i liked his patrol i i’m very curious to see more of how little how little boost for with that if they.

Kenric:
[55:37] The weather at they were trying to set something up with letter that’s that’s why they had him so limited in there it wasn’t meant to hit you was nothing was ever meant to be,
in there like that it was just meant to be a subset that to give you a taste to get your ready for the next one.

John:
[55:49] Well according to him the he they film all ton more sees it and use with him and it.

Kenric:
[55:55] Well i’m sure we gonna have what four hour suicide squad movie come on i would to but you know most people wouldn’t.

John:
[55:59] I mean Okay I lied watch that,
but so now finally fifty some minutes and how long were into this.

Kenric:
[56:07] Yeah I’m getting hot too so we need to wrap.

John:
[56:10] Are you are hot baby but um.

Kenric:
[56:11] Yeah.

John:
[56:16] Is our honestly you know before your.

Kenric:
[56:18] Yeah.

John:
[56:20] Want one of us to reflect,
I heard they did mention this Martin Scorsese Joker movie like last year and that is going to be produced by Scorsese and then you by Todd Phillips whatever.

Kenric:
[56:33] Yeah Leonardo DiCaprio is tapped.

John:
[56:35] Was the idea you know calculator i but i start it was like dumb stupid rumors go bike this is the source says he is not gonna make a fucking joker movie you know.

Kenric:
[56:43] He probably do an excellent job.

John:
[56:46] You’re not wrong but okay,
he hasn’t yell at your total scum used directors were says he is exec to prison okay that makes sense to me at that’s fine that could be cool if the top reno,
I feel like I know it’s not but I feel like it was like walking PCF is Joker hey here’s a picture of him as Joker like it just happened like so fast you know I like now is filming into the wait,
what’s.

Kenric:
[57:19] And what are you director for this what’s on no even.

John:
[57:22] Room tired philips yeah he did not do.

Kenric:
[57:29] What’s the,
and i was like i don’t like it because it was too like classic clown looking to me like at like at like a birthday clown,
that’s what it kind of remind without the big red nose that’s it and the wig that’s it,
what,
Taylor is out right now and it’s it’s not something I would wear I mean don’t get me wrong but it’s a tailored suit and it but it’s red and I think people are comparing it to Heath Ledger because the suits looks similar,
but at the same time it’s like if you go back through and all the history of the Joker that’s basically how we dressed.

John:
[58:17] Right with the exception of Jared Leto at Ed’s very spot.

Kenric:
[58:19] Yeah so I don’t understand why people are comparing it to Heath Ledger and making it like copying no he’s not the face makeup is completely different,
totally different and that is in the suit red and is not the same.

John:
[58:36] Now it’s not so thoughtful of directed road trip old school start ski and Hutch school for scoundrels.

Kenric:
[58:41] Can my it might be interesting then it might be interesting.

John:
[58:46] Yeah yeah I like walking he was fantastic and walk the line my favorite walking,
the movie yeah he’s a great actor he’s.

Kenric:
[59:02] His brother or cousin.

John:
[59:04] Yeah brother,
sure I don’t know I think so maybe so.

Kenric:
[59:15] I’m excited to see this I’m excited to see the first trailer.

John:
[59:18] Yeah I really hope this a Batman let’s movie.

Kenric:
[59:23] Yeah me too or or.

John:
[59:26] Or if anything it’s just if the enemy falls into the ann.

Kenric:
[59:27] Insinuate insinuate that you know.

John:
[59:31] Yeah but i do wonder if this could be told from the joker’s perspective or is gonna be told how how was the story of the girl you.

Kenric:
[59:37] How is the story going to go I don’t know maybe someone out there can tell us if you know anything or you think you want to give us an idea what you think is going to happen to Joker movie or how they’re going to portray it drop us a line.

John:
[59:50] Right order of if you’re Todd Phillips or if you’re walking if it is going to give us a call until 12.

Kenric:
[59:54] Cuz I know Joaquin Phoenix listen to us all the time.

John:
[59:58] I mean he has to write he has to.

Kenric:
[59:59] I think I think that the show dude.

John:
[1:00:02] I know.

Kenric:
[1:00:04] I think so because Johnny’s going to go to a concert we’re apparently Janet Jackson is opening for Metallica and then the after party is hosted by MC Hammer this is true folks this is all true.

John:
[1:00:14] This is totally true it and the end the introduction speeches by Colin Powell.

Kenric:
[1:00:18] Oh my God it’s so it’s my mind is blown you have to go,
wow it i once went to this cuz no one of.
