Lanie, host of True Crime Fan Club, joins us to talk about 2001’s The Others. The Others is written and directed by Alejandro Amenábar and stars Nicole Kidman.

The Others was released on August 2, 2001, in the United States and on September 7, 2001, in Spain. It was considered a success, making $209.9 million on a budget of $17 million.

The film won seven Goya Awards, Spain’s main national film awards. It was the first English language film to win awards for Best Film. It was won three Saturn Awards for Best Director, Best Writing, and Best Supporting Actress.
