Recently EA has dropped some news on their newest game in production Star Wars: Squadrons. They have given both a gameplay trailer (which you can see below) and a reveal trailer (which you can see here.) With the new trailers, EA has also announced that the game is available for pre order, which is basically the whole point of why you’re reading this.
Star Wars: Squadrons is looking like its going to be an extremely immersive space dog-fighting game. You can either take control of a Rebel pilot of a TIE Fighter pilot and fight it out in space post events of Return of the Jedi. Featuring many things such as VR compatibility, single-player and multiplayer, and no microtransactions (EA has seemed to learn from their Battlefront 2 debacle,) the game seems to be set up for a space game everyone has been looking forward to for a long time.
Squadrons is set to release on October 2nd for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with the base game being priced at $39.99. There will be a future release of the game for the next generation consoles, but there is no time frame for that as of writing.
Pre-orders can be done at any of they following companies!
Pre-Order Bonuses: Pre-order bonuses include the following cosmetic items – New Republic Recruit Flight Suit, Imperial Ace Flight Suit, New Republic Recruit Starfighter Skins, Imperial Ace Starfighter Skins, New Republic Recruit Decal, and Imperial Ace Decal.
