Star Wars: Bounty Hunters 101

With The Mandalorian just released, there would be no better time to explore the different bounty hunters around the galaxy.

Jango Fett

Jango Fett was one of the greatest bounty hunter. He was used as the genetic template for the clone troopers that the Republic used. Though Jango makes only one appearance in one Star Wars film, his legacy influences both Captain Rex and Boba Fett.

Boba Fett

Boba Fett’s appearance in the original Star Wars trilogy had fan imagining his origins. That was until Attack of the Clones revealed his creation. Boba was a clone of Jango Fett. Jango passed down the teachings of his trade to his Boba. As a result, Boba had the most advanced weapons, was an expert pilot, and sleuth skills that he could use to hold his own. These skills were put to the test after Jango’s sudden death. Boba found himself alone against an unforgiving galaxy. Boba followed his father’s teachings and was soon leading his own legacy.

Aurra Sing

Aurra Sing is one of the galaxy’s more murderous bounty hunters. Despite this, she took in Boba Fett after the death of Jango Fett.


He hates Wookiees and loves money. Bossk has always been a fan favorite since Empire Strikes Back. He helped the abandoned Boba Fett with Sing.

Ketsu Onyo

Ketsu escaped the Imperial Academy on Mandalore with Sabine Wren. The two went into business with the goal of working for the Black Sun crime syndicate. The friendship between the two ended after a falling out. Ketsu continued to collect bounties, and eventually started working for Black Sun. The two reunited years later during a confrontation over a droid. Sabine wanted to dealer it to the rebellion and Ketsu intended to collect a bounty on it. While they were able to settle their differences in order to hide from the Empire.


Embo has worked for the Hutt gangsters as a bodyguard, defending them from Darth Maul and his brother. He has also worked as an assassin for Darth Sidious. He has also faced off against Anakin Skywalker while carrying out a Sidious contract. Embo has even protected hard-working farmers from pirate raids.

Cad Bane

Cad Bane most accomplished bounty hunter in the galaxy. Taking on the most challenging bounties for fortune and glory. Need to steal a holocron or kidnap the Supreme Chancellor? Cad Bane has accepted these contracts. Combining an analytical mind with gadgets and equipment designed to put him on a level with force users, Bane has become a legend of the galaxy.


Dengar was a human bounty hunter whose been hunting since the Clone Wars. He worked in a group of hunters with Boba Fett. Dengar prefer using blaster rifle and smoke grenades. He was hired by Darth Vader to hunt down Han Solo.


4-LOM was a protocol droid who had a glitch in his programming. He often worked with fellow bounty hunter Zuckuss. 4-LOM was a cold and ambitious droid. He was hired by Darth Vader to hunt down Han Solo.


IG-88 was a Rogue Assassin Droid. Ever since his activation IG-88 has had the urge to kill. IG-88 was hired by Darth Vader to hunt down Han Solo.


Zuckuss was a male Gand that often teamed up with 4-LOM. He was hired by Darth Vader to hunt down Han Solo.


From the moment he entered life, Greedo couldn’t catch a break. While much of his history is mostly lost, it is believed that he belonged to the Tetsu Clan. The clan was hunted to near extinction by the ruthless Navik the Red, leader of the rival Chattza Clan. Greedo’s father refused to bow to Navik, which ended in his death. Greedo met his end in a dispute in Mos Eisley Cantina with Han Solo.

Tutti Snibit

Tutti Snibit suffered as a bounty hunter because of his genetics. Snibit had a small stature. Tutti’s one and only successful capture was the beautiful Zeltron thief Malyssa Raventhorn. He became so distracted by fine Cambrian wine and good conversation with his mark that he passed out. Tutti also set out on the Solo bounty.


Castas was determined to live to an old age as a bounty hunter. He was offered to take a contract against Mace Windu with Aurra Sing. The two were able to capture high ranking Republic officers, Castas got anxious. He made a call to his pirate friend to set up a selling place to help himself. Sing overhearing the call shot Castas dead.
