Showtime’s HALO Series RECASTS CORTANA

Just a few days ago we revealed that the upcoming Showtime series based off the meg-hit video game franchise Halo restarted production. Now we are hearing that one of the main characters has been recast due to scheduling conflicts due to Covid-19.

It appears the role of Cortana will now be played by Jen Taylor (Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3).

Originally Natascha McElhone (Designated Survivor, Californication) was set to play the Artificial Intelligence character but due to scheduling issues had to bow out. With that, it is stated she will still be involved with the project as she is also cast to portray Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey. One of the masterminds behind the Spartan program within the lore.

Currently very few details have been revealed about the highly-anticipated and long-awaited series. But rest assured that the Spoilerverse will be on-top of all things Halo as more information drops.

Halo, is being produced by Amblin Television, 343 Studios and Microsoft Studios and will star Pablo Schreiber, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray and Natasha McElhone.
