Ewan McGregor talks ‘Kenobi’, The Rise of Skywalker trailer has released, Ticket sales are going well…. it appears, and more.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
In an interview with Men’s Journal, Obi-Wan himself, Ewan McGregor, states that he knew about the upcoming Star Wars series for four years!
“It’s a fucking massive relief,” “Because for four years, I’ve been having to lie to people about it.”

Ewan also gave some info regarding the highly anticipated series, saying that the series won’t film until next summer and that it will consist of six hour-long episodes.
He also reiterates that “The story line sits between Episode III and Episode IV,” right after the collapse of the Jedi Order. McGregor hints that the destruction of the Jedi will be part of the main arc.
Interesting bits that he gave away there. It seems that all the rumors years ago about a Kenobi film or series were on the money. It would be interesting to hear the story on why it took four years to come to fruition.
The Rise of Skywalker Trailer Talk
I will say my initial reaction to the trailer (which can be heard here) wasn’t as big as I was hoping for. The trailers for The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi pumped me up and I was ecstatic about those movies. This one however, just seemed to be tame and even depressing at times.
Obviously when it comes to anything Star Wars fans will pick it apart trying to discover hidden messages, easter eggs, or anything that will give them more insight. It’s not different with this trailer here. With that being said, we decided to take a look at one of the most intriguing sequences and attempt to fully understand what it could mean. Check out that article here.
All in all, the trailer has grown on me a bit. Abrams left out story beats for a reason and leaving out any remaining reveals for the film is a brilliant move. Lets just hope it pays off.

The Rise of Skywalker Ticket Sales
Atom Tickets announced earlier this week that The Rise of Skywalker came in shy of beating the first-day sales of Avengers: Endgame. The movie did sell more tickets in its first hour than any other movie before it and sold two and a half times as many tickets in its first day as Star Wars: The Last Jedi did on Atom.
Fandango reports that Rise of Skywalker outperformed all other Star Wars films in first-day presales.
Endgame currently holds the record for the highest international box office total ever. Which is nearly $2.8 billion.
Do you think Star Wars will beat out the Avengers this December?
The Rise of Skywalker Images
(We will not show the images on this site as we do not want to be responsible for ruining anyone’s cinematic experience of the upcoming movie.)
Two images from what appears to be the final confrontation in The Rise of Skywalker found their way online this past week. The images, first found on Reddit then on the YouTube fan account “World of Geekdom,”were hit with copyright complaints and were removed by Disney.
This has made many fans to believe that the leaked images were 100% real.
While I personally question the validity of these leaks due to them looking photoshopped. It is curious as to why Disney was so quick to have them pulled down off the internet.
I urge you all to just skip these potential leaked images though. If the movie DOES move in this direction these images essentially ruin the fun.
