Frictional Games released an announcement trailer for Amnesia: Rebirth, a horror game praised for, shockingly, being scary. The creators of the original Amnesia and SOMA franchise announced that Rebirth will be a sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent. A safe assumption would be to expect similar levels of horrifying experiences while trying to navigate in hostile areas. The first trailer that was released showing extravagant scenes and clues of things that hide in the shadows.
The main character of this game is a Tasi Trianon. His mission is to explore “the limits of human resistance,” according to Frictional Games. “Touring Tasi’s trip and gathering the fragments of a shattered past will be the only chance to survive the ruthless horror that threatens to devour you,”
“Time is against you. Still, you must continue, step by step, knowing that if you fail you will lose everything.”
There is a Steam page that is ready for the game to offer more screenshots of the game and details about the game. Players will have to manage their resources during these tense situations and solve puzzles while dodging the creatures they find. Frictional Games promises “horrible creatures”, although we have not seen any of them yet.
Amnesia: Rebirth is scheduled to launch in the fall of 2020 for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.
