Last of Us 2 Story Trailer!

Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive Entertainment have dropped a new trailer for The Last of Us Part II. This story driven trailer is the first glimpse at the game we, the fans, have gotten in the past seven months. The Last of Us Part II is Sony Interactive Entertainment’s first major release for this year!

As stated above the trailer focuses on the story of both Ellie and Joel, the main characters of The Last of Us. Ellie goes on what seems like an insane rampage in response to what Naughty Dog calls “a vicious and violent event.” Other than that, the trailer does a great job at not giving away any major spoilers to the game.

“Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming,” reads an official blurb about the game. “Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors. When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a relentless journey to carry out justice and find closure. As she hunts those responsible one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.”

The Last of Us Part II is set to release on June 19th on the PS4 only.
