Jurassic World Dominion Delayed Until 2022

Covid strikes again! Coming from Variety, the sixth film of the Jurassic series has been delayed until June 2022, a year later than Universal was expecting. The delay comes from the frequent Covid testing at filming sights, isolating the cast, and many other precautions that have slowed the filming process and cost the film about $5 million.

Jurassic World: Dominion will again star Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. They are joined by Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum. Colin Trevorrow is returning to direct “Dominion,” having previously helmed 2015’s “Jurassic World.” He also co-wrote the script for the 2018 sequel “Fallen Kingdom.”
