The Nerds get together for Horror News #3. We talk about horror news from around the web. It seems like there are several new horror projects being announced every week, and we try to keep on top of it all in these episodes. I have been feeling under the weather, which means David took the wheel on this one.

It’s a great time to be alive for horror fans. We only touched on a couple of the items and series that have been announced. Check below to see a timestamp for each topic.

  • (02.00) Resident Evil 2 remake is a survival horror game that has blown us away with the updated graphics. We also talk about the news that Netflix will be producing a series based on the video game series.
  • (05:45) Polar is a neo-noir action crime drama film based on the 2012 webcomic. The Netflix original movie stars Mads Mikkelsen, and it is available for streaming now.
  • (07:20) We tried to talk about Bird Box, but that conversation goes nowhere, as Greg and David had yet to see it.
  • (08:20) Umbrella Academy is a Netflix original series and is adapted from the comic book series of the same name. It will be released on February 15, 2019.
  • (11.24) We talk about several projects that Jordan Peele will be working on. We mentioned UsThe Twilight Zone (2019), and the Candyman remake/reboot.
  • (15:45) Todd McFarlane has announced a new Spawn movie starring Jamie Foxx.
  • (19:40) Hellboy (2019) is an American Supernatural superhero film based on the Dark Horse comic book character of the same name.
  • (21:25) Netflix has announced Stranger Things season 3 will debut on July 4, 2019.
  • (25:20) We talked about Happy Death Day 2U which reminded us that Netflix’s Russian Doll has a similar plot device.
  • (26:50) Clive Barker has announced he will have a new series based on series of horror collections “Books of Blood“.
