FEIGI Confirms Deadpool NOW Part of MCU!

During an interview with Collider talking about the upcoming WandaVision show for Disney+. Kevin Feige opened up about what the future of the MCU holds in regards to everyone’s favorite Merc with a Mouth.

“It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.”

While this isn’t a huge announcement, it is nice to hear straight from Feige that there is no need in worrying about a deviation of what we have come to expect from the character. It’s also exciting that he has confirmed the script is currently being written and while filming isn’t planned for this year we could see some movement in 2022 at the earliest. That’s not to say there isn’t a possibility of seeing him pop up sometime sooner.

If you happen to follow us here at the Spoilerverse you will know in our Rumorverse section we have heard rumblings that Ryan Reynolds may make a cameo appearance as Deadpool in the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Which you can find HERE.

Are you excited for this development? When do you expect to first see him pop up in the MCU?
