Emilia Clarke Being Eyed for the Role of Zatanna

It has been reported by our friends over at TCN that Emilia Clarke is being eyed to take on the role of Zatanna in JJ Abrams’ and Bad Robot’s upcoming Justice League Dark show for HBO Max. This should come at no surprise that WB would be looking at Emilia for this role after her success on their hit HBO show Game of Thrones.

While details are scarce and the deal is not yet done it’s hard not to get excited about this possibility.

It was announced earlier this year that a Justice League Dark show would be created and produced by JJ Abrams and his Bad Robot production company. While the cast list has yet to be officially revealed it is rumored to include Zatanna, John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Etrigan and Doctor Fate. Only Emilia Clarke has been rumored for any role at this time.

Zatanna Zatara is a powerful Homo Magi. She is the daughter of John Zatara, and like him casts spells by saying what she wants backwards.
