Disney+ Obi-Wan Series Lands a new Writer

With production due to start later this year Variety has revealed that writer Joby Harold has been brought on to replace writer Hossein Amini. Harold was an executive producer John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and was a writer for Zack Snyder’s upcoming Army of the Dead.

Since Ewan McGregor‘s portrayal of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the prequels. Star Wars fans around the world have been clamoring for more stories about Anakin Skywalkers mentor.

During last years D23 it was announced that Lucasfilm would be working on a Television series for Disney’s Disney+ streaming service. It was just a few months later where it was revealed that they were heading back to the drawing board. Production would be delayed until mid to late 2020.
