DC Bombshells Trading Card Series III coming soon!

My wife is a huge fan of the DC Bombshell series from Cryptozoic. We have almost an entire set of the vinyl figures, most of the Lil Bombshells and a complete set of the series I and II trading cards. We originally heard about series III when we were down at SDCC earlier this year, and almost out in our pre-order for them on the spot. However we chose to wait because we wanted to spend that money AT comic-con and figured we can pre -order later.

Well it looks like I need to get my pre-order in now because Cryptozoic has put out the official release information on the set and it looks amazing! The one thing I always miss when these sets come out is the binder they release to hold the set. I wont make that mistake this time, it’s already ordered.

Cryptozoic and Warner Bros. Consumer Products Announce Release of DC Bombshells Trading Cards III

Third Set Based on DC Bombshells Features Hand-Drawn Sketch Cards and Golden Goddess, Bronze, and Hand-Painted DC Lil Bombshells Vinyl Figures

Lake Forest, CA – October 16, 2019 – Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of tabletop games, trading cards, and physical and digital collectibles, and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC, today announced the October 25 release of DC Bombshells Trading Cards III.

The third release based on the popular DC Bombshells collectibles and comics again puts the focus on artistic interpretations of the 1940s-inspired characters. It features a Base Set and six Chase Sets that utilize Sketch Card art from Cryptozoic’s two previous DC Bombshells releases. In addition, the randomly inserted one-of-a-kind Sketch Cards showcase new art by some of today’s hottest artists. Each hobby box contains one Golden Goddess or rare Bronze variant of a DC Lil Bombshells: Series 1 2.75-inch vinyl figure: Harley Quinn, Batwoman, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, or Hawkgirl. Alternately, some hobby boxes contain an ultra-rare, totally unique Hand-Painted DC Lil Bombshells figure.

The Sketch Cards by some of today’s hottest artists present interpretations of favorite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains in the distinctive retro style of DC Bombshells.

The six Chase Sets all utilize Sketch Card art from the previous two DC Bombshells Trading Cards releases. They include “On The Front Line,” showing characters in scenes of warfare; “Showstoppers,” depicting characters performing on stage and designed to resemble old-fashioned playbills; “Gotham’s Greatest,” featuring characters associated with Gotham City, as well as Batman’s symbol; “Wonder Girls,” portraying the female characters inspired by Wonder Woman to become heroes in the DC Bombshells comics; “Vintage Photographs,” dramatic glamour shots that have a faded appearance and look like they have been signed; and CZ STR PWR, featuring rare, high-quality, thicker cards that showcase characters.

DC Bombshells Trading Cards III will be available at retailers nationwide on October 25.
