‘Creatures’ – Practical Puppets Take Over Christmas

Jopia Productions, coming off of Cute Little Buggers and Good Tidings are back with with a practical effect, horror film this Christmas.The filmed named Creatures, sees the production company team up with the puppet crew in Dark Crystal to deliver life like puppet movements.

“A group of astronomy students get more than they bargained for after finding an injured alien who is being targeted by a group of bloodthirsty alien creatures.”

The Dark Crystal team issued the following statement, “Our passion lies in melding practical and visual FX. We aim to deliver on the goods by bringing together some creatively nasty SFX, tremendous puppet creature work and VFX work that will blow fans of action, horror comedies truly away.”

The director Tony Jopia teases, “It’s going to be a non-stop action, sci-fi, horror comedy packed with badass nasty aliens and one adorable little bugger that YULE definitely want for Christmas.”

Creatures will be in theaters and out on Blue-ray and DVD holiday 2020.
