Since Disney officially acquired 20th Century Fox in 2019 fans have been clamoring at the bit to figure out how and when characters such as Deadpool, Wolverine and the Fantastic 4 would be introduced into the MCU proper.
Well if the latest rumblings turn out to be true we all will be getting a dose of Deadpool in 2022 in the upcoming sequel to Doctor Strange.
Sources claim that Ryan Reynolds will have a small cameo within the upcoming MCU film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It is said it will be in a limited capacity showing his inappropriate behavior in a way that is suitable for a typical Marvel film. This will pave the way for further adventures with Deadpool doing short cameo appearances throughout the rest of the entire MCU while retaining his R rated films for his solo outings.
With that, it appears Disney will be utilizing 20th Century Studios for R rated (Adult rated) Marvel content moving forward. That means we will most likely see the upcoming Blade film and the continuation of the Deadpool series all released using that banner.
