Behind the Mask is a 2006 American Mockumentary black comedy slasher film directed by Scott Glosserman. Nathan Baesel stars as the titular Leslie Vernon. The movie is an homage to classic slasher films. Robert Englund, Zelda Rubenstein, and Kane Hodder cameo in the film.

Initially released at the 2006 South by Southwest film festival, it received a limited release on March 16, 2017. It has received mostly favorable reviews, currently sitting at a 76% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
